Egg Freezing Cost in Washington

Egg freezing in Washington costs $12,000 to $18,000 all-in per cycle. No state mandate applies, so coverage is employer-driven, and in Seattle that means Microsoft and Amazon offer some of the strongest fertility benefits in the country.

For the metro, the figures shown are typical all-in cycle ranges. When a clinic lists its own rates, the table adopts and references those clinic numbers; otherwise the span is a metro-tier projection derived from FertilityIQ and Cofertility regional information rather than a price the clinic itself has confirmed. The majority of fertility clinics price by consultation. Data was last checked in April 2026. Always verify figures with the clinic before depending on them.

Insurance coverage under state law

Coverage depends on your employer and varies widely. There is no full fertility coverage mandate in Washington State. Through third-party platforms (Carrot, Progyny, Maven), many Seattle-area tech employers (Microsoft, Amazon, Google subsidiary, Tableau) offer large fertility benefits. Lifetime maximums of $30,000 to $75,000 are common with these benefits.[11]

Elective preservation is not covered by Washington Apple Health (Medicaid). Some state employee health plans (PEBB) cover fertility preservation, but only when it is medically necessary.

Washington‑specific considerations

Washington pricing is in the mid-tier. Major clinics in the Seattle market are highly competitive, and despite a high cost of living, pricing does not exceed that of the Bay Area or NYC. Because many big tech employers provide fertility benefits, numerous Seattle patients use employer benefit platforms instead of paying out-of-pocket.

More limited treatment options exist for non-Seattle Washington patients. Some travel to Portland, OR, for cost or program reasons. Before deposit, confirm clinic outcomes data (SART) and verify the protocol planned.

Aggregated and informational state pricing data. Your clinic quote depends on the protocol, dose, monitoring frequency, and any pre-treatment evaluations. Before treatment, confirm with the clinic and your insurer.
